Owner- Bill Shira 

Bill Shira has been turning wrenches since 1982, but his passion for mechanic work started long before that, back when he was building and fixing his own bicycles as a kid. A self-taught mechanic with deep roots in Vernon Parish, Bill began his professional journey working in a salvage yard and doing repair work on dump trucks while driving for his brother. That hands-on experience led him to a long career in Beaumont, Texas. From 1988 to 2008, Bill, his wife Teresa, and his son Billy owned a trucking business specializing in 18-wheeler repairs. 

After Hurricane Ike, they returned home to Vernon Parish and kept doing what he loved - mechanic work. On March 1st, 2009, alongside his wife Teresa and their son, he opened the doors to this family-run mechanic shop. What started as a local garage has grown into a multi-generational business, with his son pursuing a career in diesel mechanics and his grandchildren all growing up around the shops, learning the trade firsthand.

With over four decades of experience and a strong belief in honest, hands-on work, Bill continues to serve the Anacoco community with the same dedication that's defined his career from the beginning.
